I would hope that everyone was as uncomfotable as my family is right now and doing everything they can to get a budget passed. The state employees that got the temporary lay off notices today are not very relaxed right now. The employees at Standish Maximum Correctional Facility as well as the Standish community is not very relaxed right now. We all have worries about our futures. Especially those with less than two years to retirement, and now with the closure and no "covered" positions to bump to our entire retirement we have worked for is gone or at least changed drastically. Does anyone in the legislature that is so comfortable right now have those worries?
